The Korean word for a puppy, but it’s used much more broadly. Even for a fully grown dog, Koreans lovingly call them the same way. It’s also a term of endearment grandparents use for their grandchildren.
Also, consuming dog meat is no longer a part of the culture and is now officially illegal in Korea.
